White KNO3 Fertilizer: Content, Characteristics, Functions, and How to Use


White KNO3 fertilizer or often known as potassium nitrate or potassium nitrate is a chemical fertilizer that contains two chemical elements, namely potassium (potassium) and nitrate.

This fertilizer is very effective for use on plants and is very useful for use in forming nutrients for plants. The nitrogen content in this fertilizer is 13% and potassium in the form of K2O is 45 to 46 percent.

  • Chili with a dose of 100-150 kg/Ha
  • Shallots with a dose of 150 kg / ha

  • Watermelon with a dose of 125 kg/Ha
  • Melon with a dose of 175 kg/Ha
  • Potatoes with a dose of 150 kg/Ha
  • Cucumber with a dose of 150 kg/Ha
  • Citrus with a dose of 250-500 Gr per tree 4-5 years old or more
  • Mango with a dose of 500-1000 Gr per tree over 5 years old
  • Vegetables and fruit with a dose of 20-50 Kg / Ha.

For how to use this white KNO3 on plants, it is very easy to do, namely in two ways as follows:
  • The way is in the pour, through mixing white KNO3 with a concentration of 2 to 5 grams per liter of water.
  • The ditugal method is by giving white KNO3 at a dose of 5 to 10 grams per plant.
  • White KNO3 in liquid form is done by mixing 2 to 4 CC of liquid white KNO3 fertilizer per 1 liter of water and sprayed on plants.
