5 Ways to Maintain an Electric Sprayer Tank

Electric Sprayer is a tool used to spray agricultural crops, both medicine and fertilizer in liquid form. Along with the development of today's agricultural era, there are more and more products that are very supportive and make it easier for farmers to support work in the field.

Agricultural equipment innovation is needed by farmers with agricultural equipment that is produced for the efficiency and effectiveness of farmers' work. Activities carried out by farmers, especially vegetable cultivation, are routinely spraying fertilizers or pesticides, spraying is usually done using a spray tank.

In the past, the spray tank used a manual method, there was a wind tube in the tank which was pumped manually, it went hand in hand with time, now the spray tank has been modified by adding a driving dynamo engine, commonly called (electric tank) now electric tanks are in great demand by farmers because there are many electric tanks. its advantages compared to manual electric tanks, this was proven when we surveyed in the field.

"Electric tanks are lighter to carry, lighter than manual tanks, there is no need to pump, it is already automatic at the dynamo pump, besides that now the spraying job is not too tiring," said Mr. Samsu.

If you have ever used an electric tank, this experience is normal, it is natural that the number of users of an electric tank increases drastically every year, now it is very easy to find at the nearest farm shop, there are lots of brands and models, what we will discuss this time is how to do it. maintenance so that the electric sprayer tank is durable for long term use.

This method is usually underestimated by farmers because they don't know how to take good care, Here are some problems that often arise and how to fix them.

Electric Sprayer is a tool used to spray agricultural crops, both medicine and fertilizer in liquid form.

1. The pump beeps ( hum ) Water does not come out

The first step that must be done is to check the hose rod nozzle, if there is a lot of dirt that clogs it can be cleaned first, but if the hose is clogged due to too much dirt, you should replace the hose with a new hose, replace the pipe and drain hose. check the valve which often happens usually the valve is sticky so it doesn't work properly.

2. Water jets are not heavy

If there is a low water pressure, you can first check the battery by looking at the indicator, if the electrical pressure has started to weaken then the pump cannot push the water to its full potential. Immediately refill the battery by cash for approximately 4 hours so that it is filled again. If possible, avoid using it when the battery is running low because it can shorten battery life.

3. Nozzle Leak

The water flows but through the side of the nozzle which causes the water to not radiate. The right way if a problem like this is to open the nozzle and cover it with insulation so it doesn't leak, if there is still a leak, replace the old nozzle with a new one.

4. Pump does not sound (Buzz)

Incidents like this usually occur at the ON / OFF switch. Turn the potentiometer knob clockwise, check the condition of the pump with the OVO meter, if it's dead, replace it with a new one

5. Nozzle Not Working Or Not Emitting Water

This usually happens if the electric sprayer after being used is not freshly cleaned or washed, so what happens is that residual medicine or fertilizer settles at the end of the nozzle, including the pipe or zinc spray, which will usually also be clogged due to accumulation of dirt.

The position of the nozzle hole that is not right will also affect the flow of water. Turn the knob at the end of the nozzle until it emits water.
